Pinched the idea off my mate.

Since I am now past retiring age and have reduced my working week to 4 days, Wednesday's are a day of leisure.
Having noticed Tracey and Steve had been to Tatton Park,  I decide that today was to good a day not to take some pictures, so, I pinched their idea and went along to have a go at the Deer myself..

The rest are in the usual place on my Picasa / Google site.

Chester in the gloom

Today saw Trace and myself on a wander around a very murky Chester, the rain stayed away for the most part and a  trip around the walls brought a few images, some showing the way the ancient constructions are still in use today.

The sign over the door leaves you in no doubt as to what this shop does

Recent flood water has left the river banks in rather a mess

The old walls run through the new and modern buildings creating a mixture of styles

The old eroded walls can clearly be seen at the water tower corner

This down river shot shows just how high the water level still is after all of the recent rains..

1st proper nice day

Only managed to get a couple of hours today, on what was without doubt the best day of the year and a trip to Knypersley resulted in a few images, all of which are here.

The not to brilliant weather.

Over the last few weekends you may have noticed the weather has not been at it's best,  last Sunday though there was a chink of light, the results of which are now on this blog and form a jumble of images of all types.

The rest of the day's photo's can be found as usual on my Picasa site.
